He developed a keen interest in chess around April 2025. To support his growing passion, we enrolled him in Brilliance Chess Academy under the wonderful guidance of his coach, Ms. Dara Chetana Ma’am. Since joining, Adhvik has learned various tactical moves and strategic concepts that have significantly improved his gameplay. His dedication to the game has grown remarkably, and we’ve seen him take the initiative to refine his skills beyond his regular lessons. Most importantly, we’ve noticed a visible boost in his confidence, both on and off the chessboard. We are truly grateful for the nurturing and enriching environment provided by the academy and his coach. Coach Feedback – Adhvik is a bright and enthusiastic 9-year-old who joined Brilliance Chess Academy around April 2025. From the beginning, he showed a genuine curiosity and deep passion for learning chess. He picks up tactical ideas and strategic concepts very quickly and always thinks before he plays—qualities that set him apart. He is one of the most regular and attentive students in class. He listens carefully, stays focused, and almost always gives the correct answers—no matter how tricky the question is. His consistency and sharp thinking are truly commendable. Earlier, however, Adhvik wasn’t attending the practice sessions regularly, and his rankings in those sessions reflected that—he was usually in the 30s. But as his coach, I always believed he had great potential. I encouraged him strongly to start attending those sessions consistently, and when he finally did, his efforts spoke for themselves. In his most recent practice session, Adhvik secured Rank 18, which is a fantastic achievement considering how competitive and challenging those sessions are. Reaching the top 20 in such a setting is not easy, and yet he made it through his hard work and focus. I am truly proud of the progress Adhvik has made.
