Few months back he expressed his curiosity for chess & his eagerness to try his hand on it. We knowing the chess our way like calling the pieces Hathi, Ghoda, Unt, Pyada etc. decided to get professional guidance for Saurish & came to know about Brilliance Chess Academy. Since his first interaction with Pankaj Pujapanda Sir during the demo class held in Jan 2025, Pankaj Sir has been his favourite teacher. Pankaj Sir’s guidance not only helping Saurish to learn the game but also developing his abilities & soft skills like approach towards critical thinking, problem solving with alternate options, self-confidence & patience. What began as a simple curiosity soon evolved into a genuine passion. To further her skills, she began formal training under the guidance of her coach, Mr. Pankaj Pujapanda. Since then, Haniya has been consistently learning advanced strategies and tactics, demonstrating a deepening commitment to the game and a continuous drive to improve her performance. In March 2025, he began lessons with Coach Kunal, whose friendly, approachable teaching style—using live game examples, interactive puzzles, and clear, step‑by‑step explanations—has helped Abhinav quickly grasp tactics such as deflection, double attack, double check, and skewer. Under Kunal Sir’s guidance, Abhinav’s ability to calculate several moves ahead and recognize recurring patterns has noticeably improved, his opening play consistently follows sound principles, and he confidently converts small material advantages into wins.
