In the vibrant city of Dubai, UAE, my 5-year-old daughter, Saanvika Vasanth, discovered a newfound passion for chess, inspired by her father’s interest in the game. Wanting to nurture her skills more professionally, she began training with her coach, Om Rastogi from 21st Dec 2024. His expert guidance and approachable teaching style sparked even greater enthusiasm in Saanvika, motivating her to dive deeper into the world of chess. She quickly picked up new tactics, became more focused, and began developing strong critical thinking skills. Her curiosity led her to watch chess tournament videos, and she can now recognize several world champions by name and face. With growing determination, Saanvika aspires to become a strong and skilled chess player.
