Dev Pranaav Saravanan is a cheerful and active 7-year-old studying in Grade 1 and residing in Abu Dhabi, UAE. He is a curious and enthusiastic learner with a special love for chess.
After joining classes with Ms. Dara Chetana, a very patient and wonderful teacher, we have seen significant positive changes in Dev. His understanding of the game has improved noticeably, and his confidence has grown tremendously. The structured guidance, encouragement, and supportive learning environment have helped nurture both his skills and his curiosity.
Dev now approaches the game with greater focus and enthusiasm, and he actively participates in class while enjoying the learning process.
We are truly thankful to Brilliance Chess Academy and coach Ms. Dara Chetana for providing such dedicated guidance and for playing an important role in Dev’s growth and development in chess.

What makes Dev special is the way he genuinely enjoys chess. He doesn’t approach the game with pressure or seriousness beyond his age instead, he plays with curiosity, excitement, and a true love for learning. He especially enjoys solving puzzles and is always eager to participate in discussions during class.
Dev listens attentively, interacts confidently, and shares his thoughts openly, which makes the sessions lively and engaging. He maintains a beautiful balance between learning and having fun, and that positivity spreads to his classmates as well.
His enthusiasm makes every session feel effortless and enjoyable. It is always a pleasure teaching him, and I look forward to seeing him continue to grow both in skill and confidence at Brilliance Chess Academy.
