George James Vaikath is 9 years old and a grade 4 student of Bright Riders School Abu Dhabi. His passion for chess started at the age of 6 when we discovered that he was catching up very fast and his intellectual curiosity was seeking explanations which was out of our reach. It is then we decided to put him in a chess academy so that it will foster his strategic thinking and skills on the chess board.

Out of the 10 or even more chess demos George attended, he was very particular and keen about Mr Sarbojit Paul and was very eager to learn under his guidance. George’s skill has been greatly enhanced under Mr Sarbojit s mentorship. George is showing improvement in calculating moves, demonstrating better foresight and strategic planning on the chess board. His ability to anticipate his opponents moves has also enhanced. He is learning several tactics and is learning several strategies that is helping him to become a strong player.
