Dhrupad is a 9-year-old boy currently living in Abu Dhabi. He has always shown a natural interest in chess and gives his best when he genuinely connects with something he loves. Although his interest in chess began at a young age, he struggled to sustain it without a peer group to play and learn with. Meeting his coach, Mr. Shashank, brought a wonderful change in his approach to the game. Coach Shashank’s unique and engaging style has transformed Dhrupad’s interest into a growing passion for chess.

Today, chess is not just a game for Dhrupad, but a journey that challenges him to think, learn and improve. We are truly happy to see his enthusiasm and confidence grow with every game. Coach Shashank has not only taught him chess, but has helped him discover the joy of thinking strategically.
