Abdurrahman is a bright, motivated, and highly engaged 6-year-old student from Sri Lanka, currently attending the Indian School Salalah, Oman.

His sharp mind extends beyond the board; he is also keenly interested in puzzle games, solving match scores, fixing LEGOs, and playing cricket. This natural aptitude for logic, focus, and strategic thinking perfectly complements his passion for chess.

His initial interest in the game was sparked by watching his older brother play, and we quickly noticed his keen enthusiasm and eagerness to learn. He has been honing his skills at the Brilliant Chess Academy.

Abdurrahman has shown exceptional dedication and successfully completed Level 1 within a six-month period. This milestone is a testament to his strong focus and rapid comprehension of fundamental concepts. His success is also strongly supported by the excellent coaching from Sir Karan. Sir Karan is an effective instructor who focuses on each student’s interest and progress, always guiding Abdul Rahman to make good, strategic moves. Inshallah, with the continued support of the Brilliant Chess Academy, we are confident Abdurrahman will develop into a skilled and successful chess player.
