When Miguel started learning chess shortly after turning six, we never imagined how much he would grow to love the game. What began as a simple activity quickly became something he looked forward to every day. He was excited to learn how the pieces move and proud each time he understood a new idea or strategy.

With the guidance and encouragement of his coach, Milan, at the Academy, Miguel has shown wonderful progress. He practices with focus and patience, and his confidence has grown alongside his skills. He is always eager to attend his classes and never wants to miss a lesson.

At home, chess has become a special bonding time for Miguel and his dad. They enjoy playing real games together, which has helped Miguel improve while creating meaningful family moments. Even in his free time, Miguel chooses to play online chess instead of other phone games, showing his genuine interest and love for learning.

As parents, we are grateful to see Miguel learning discipline, focus, and critical thinking through chess. He now dreams of having his own chess school one day, where he hopes to teach and inspire other young children—just as he has been inspired by his coaches today.
