Aayur Maharaj is a 10-year-old from New Zealand who has a passion for singing, playing the harmonium, and spending time with his friends. He recently developed an interest in chess in February this year. After having a demo session with Sagar, we thought it would be a great idea to enrol him in chess lessons.
Aayur is still very much a beginner and has a lot to learn, but he is enjoying the journey. In his free time, he loves playing online games and watching chess-related videos on YouTube, which has helped grow his interest even more.
The funny part is that neither his dad nor I know how to play chess, so we are completely unable to coach him at home! 😄 We are learning along with him and are excited to see how far his interest and passion for chess will take him.
