Karunya Maddipatla is a 10-year-old boy, residing in Kuwait. Though it started in a funny way of winning and losing while playing chess, with the techniques he is getting through his trainer Ms Anna Rose, he has improved a lot in his board tactics. We wish him successful journey in his chess field play with a growing enthusiasm for chess and strategic thinking. Longway to go buddy. 🙂

Karunya has been showing great potential from the very beginning. As a coach, I’m not supposed to pick favourites, but if I did, he would definitely be one of them. It is always an honour to teach such a bright and passionate kid.
Karunya also brings great energy to the class and shares a good bond with his batch mates. He is very charming and has a way of making others feel comfortable around him. Over time, his confidence has grown so much, and it has been wonderful watching his growth. I’m very proud of the progress he has made so far.
