From the very first session I had with Anton, it was clear to me that he had a deep and genuine passion for chess. No matter the day or situation, his love for the game remains constant—pure and unwavering. I could immediately tell that he truly enjoys the process of learning and playing, which made it an absolute joy to teach him.

What sets Anton apart is not just his talent, but his remarkable dedication. I still remember the time he went on vacation to his hometown in Kerala, where the network connectivity was very weak. Sometimes, he couldn’t hear me properly during class—but he still managed to attend every session. When the audio wasn’t clear, I would type my instructions or questions in the chat, and he would read them, understand the concept, and respond with the correct answers—just as engaged and focused as ever.

That is how he managed to learn and participate throughout his vacation. Watching a young child make that kind of effort to continue learning was truly inspiring for me as a coach.

Anton’s perseverance, focus, and love for chess left me speechless. His dedication didn’t just keep him motivated—it inspired me deeply. I feel extremely proud to be his coach, and I’m excited to see just how far his commitment and passion will take him in his chess journey.
