Edwin Riju, a 9-year-old resident of the Kuwait, is an enthusiastic and determined young learner with a growing passion for chess. His interest began when he observed others playing the game, and he was immediately drawn to the challenge and creativity it offered. Since joining Brilliance Chess Academy and training under the expert guidance of Coach Mr. Jai Amar Kumar, Edwin has improved remarkably, demonstrating focus, patience, and a sharp ability to learn chess strategies.

Edwin’s dedication to the game is impressive—he approaches every lesson with eagerness, actively participating and enjoying the problem-solving aspect of each move. The encouragement and structured coaching provided by Coach Jai Amar Kumar have not only enhanced Edwin’s chess skills but also strengthened his confidence to compete and grow.

Beyond chess, Edwin is an energetic child with a variety of interests. He enjoys playing football, where he channels his energy and team spirit, and also dedicates time to karate practice, which has helped him develop discipline and focus.
