9 year old girl Ahana Hari, from Kerala, Pathanamthitta, who shows interest to learn Chess from last year onwards and couple of months back she has Started with Brilliance Chess Academy. Chess has become a wonderful learning journey for Ahana. Since starting her classes with Coach Dara Chetana, we’ve seen her grow more confident and focused. She looks forward to each session and enjoys the challenge that chess brings. What stands out the most is how she applies patience and planning—not just in games, but in everyday situations. Her curiosity has also led her to explore new strategies through online videos. We truly appreciate the encouragement and structure the classes have provided.

Ahana Hari is the kind of student every coach wishes to have. She is incredibly calm, polite, patient, and has a genuinely soothing presence. What sets her apart is her thoughtfulness—she is one of the very few students who takes a moment to ask me how my day was, instead of only responding about hers. Gestures like these make me feel truly valued as a coach.
When it comes to her chess journey, Ahana has shown remarkable progress. Initially, she struggled with solving puzzles, but over time, she has developed the ability to solve those she understands with impressive speed and accuracy. With each session, her grasp of the game deepens, and her answering ability continues to improve. It’s been a joy to witness her growth both as a player and as a person.
