Now, as a dedicated member of the Abu Dhabi Chess Club, Karthik has quickly emerged as a rising talent. He started taking professional lessons just 3 months ago at Brilliance Chess Academy, and his rapid progress is evident. Representing his school as the under-14 champion, Karthik’s curiosity and drive push him to continuously explore and master advanced chess strategies and traps. His dedication, combined with his natural talent, makes him a standout among his peers at the academy. Coach Feedback – Karthik is very regular to the classes and practice tournaments, He has improved a lot in just couple of weeks and performs outstandingly great in tournaments. Brilliant kid of the month from UAE-September 2024- Rishaan October 24, 2024 Uncategorized Parent Feedback – Rishaan, a 7-year-old Indian boy from Dubai, is a jovial, friendly, talkative and enthusiastic cute lil boy. He used to play chess at home with us. Looking at his interest and ability we decided to take him to another level wherein we were referred to “Brilliance Chess Academy” by one of our friend. We took a trial and luckily got the best coach for him “Coach Harish” , very patient and too good in delivering the session and making sure Rishaan understands what he is teaching him and even implementing the same. Rishaan has learnt a lot new moves and strategies which he is even applying to the games, puzzles and tournaments he plays. “Mistakes makes you learn” and this is what even Coach Harish made Rishaan understand by making him analyse his mistakes in the tournaments he lost. He is growing his skills, learning from his mistakes, implementing his learnings and with support of his wonderful coach will definitely achieve the heights we want him to. He is also into Skates, Karate, swimming but when asked for his favourite activity and teacher – it’s chess and Coach Harish. Every weekend he looks forward to meet his coach, learn new things and play games with coach and his batchmates. After expressing a desire to learn more about tactics and strategies, we connected with Brilliance Academy and found an excellent coach, Mr. Harish Pujari. He has been incredibly friendly and supportive, greatly enhancing Niran’s enthusiasm for the game. Under Mr. Pujari’s guidance, Niran is learning various tactics, special moves, opening principles, and clever tricks. Brilliant kid of the month from Qatar-September 2024- Amir October 24, 2024 Uncategorized Parent Feedback – Amir Rocco Adjawie is an energetic and competitive 8-year-old residing in Qatar, with a strong passion for football, taekwondo, and chess. His journey with chess started at the age of six when his father introduced him to the game, leading to a cherished nightly routine of playing together. However, due to his father’s shifting work schedule, the chess time became less and we observed that he is still hungry to learn more. To keep his passion alive, we decided to enroll him in an online chess class to help him continue learning and honing his skills. Thanks to Coach Akagat and the Brilliance Chess Academy, Rocco’s chess abilities and enthusiasm have flourished. His competitive spirit truly stands out, and we’ve seen how chess is not only improving his game but also imparting life lessons such as discipline, attitude, and perseverance. Now, whenever he plays chess with his Father, he is ecstatic because he is able to beat him. We are very proud of his progress and achievements, as he exemplifies what it means to be a brilliant young individual. He is also passionate about playing chess. He started learning chess online when he was 6.5yrs. Then he took a break of over 1.5 yrs as he lost interest in the game. We started his classes with Siddharth Sir 4months ago. He is really patient and makes the class enjoyable. I don’t have to remind Atharv for his class. He willingly sits for it and enjoys it and his game is improving too. Siddharth Sir is an amazing mentor and has a very positive attitude. One of the best decisions we made 🙂 Thank you! He is a curious, brilliant and lively child. Jonathan comes up with some of the most fascinating questions and if we don’t know the answers, he will explain the facts to us and make us understand the whole topic. He blows me away with all the facts that he knows and how he can hold a grown-up conversation with adults and participate in discussions about a variety of topics. He had always been curious about various things during each stage of his growing phase. His early interests in various subjects demonstrate a keen mind and a thirst for knowledge. Recently, he developed his passion for chess, and we encouraged him willingly. In a short span of time, he was able to learn strategic moves through online youtube channels and showed great improvement in the game.
