In March 2025, he began lessons with Coach Kunal, whose friendly, approachable teaching style—using live game examples, interactive puzzles, and clear, step‑by‑step explanations—has helped Abhinav quickly grasp tactics such as deflection, double attack, double check, and skewer. Under Kunal Sir’s guidance, Abhinav’s ability to calculate several moves ahead and recognize recurring patterns has noticeably improved, his opening play consistently follows sound principles, and he confidently converts small material advantages into wins.
