Since joining, they have focused on foundational core concepts, advancing their understanding of spatial awareness, positional execution, and game theory dynamics. Both boys show a high degree of cognitive engagement—frequently reviewing analytical match footage, dissecting technique videos on YouTube, and independently studying advanced playbooks to optimize their performance under pressure. He started playing chess when he turned 4 and has since gone on to win tournaments. Under the guidance of his coach, Samresh, Aarvin is learning strategic moves, tactical thinking and how to plan during a game. He has been someone who has been naturally very confident but shy, but the passion for the game has made him stick to the board. Coach Feedback: Satvik is a prodigy. He joined us when he had just turned 4; there were a lot many barriers to overcome. Getting a 4-year-old in front of a screen for 45 minutes was a task more than chess.
