He developed an interest in playing chess earlier this year and began learning the game with great enthusiasm. To improve his skills, he started attending chess classes with his coach, Mr. Ayush, in September 2025. Since then, Ishan has learned different chess tactics, smart openings, and defensive moves that help him plan his strategy during a game. With regular practice, he has shown steady improvement in his focus, patience, and critical thinking skills. He has a very competitive and a brilliant mind who is also a very compassionate, gentle and a kind soul. He is good at running, also training in football and chess. He took his first class in Chess with Coach Ayush in June 2026 and within the next 7 months, he has got a lot better with amazing tactics and speed. More tournaments provided by the academy have given him more exposure to the game. He recently won a game against his dad. That being his best achievement so far. Looking forward for more. Brilliant kid of the month from Indonesia – February 2026 – Kayden Joe Limberlie February 24, 2026 Uncategorized Parent Feedback – Kayden Joe Limberlie, a 10-year-old from Indonesia, has been athletic and active from a young age. Among the many board games he enjoys, chess quickly became his favourite. Although he loved playing with his grandfather, he wasn’t always able to win which motivated him to work harder and improve his skills. Recognizing that chess enhances strategic thinking and strengthens cognitive abilities, we enrolled him at Brilliance Chess Academy. We are truly grateful that he had the opportunity to learn under the guidance of Ms. Dara Chetana. When Kayden first began, he often lost to his two friends who were strong chess players. However, after attending regular classes, we have seen remarkable improvement in his game. He now competes with confidence and is able to win against them. Most importantly, he genuinely enjoys Ms. Dara’s classes and always looks forward to attending them. We are very proud of his progress and hope that soon he will achieve his goal of beating his grandfather at chess! Thank you.
