We started teaching him chess at home at age of 4 to help improve his concentration and patience. To our surprise and delight, he quickly developed a strong interest in the game and began playing regularly with us, his grandparents, and other relatives. His school sports teacher also noticed his keen interest and encouraged us to provide him with proper coaching. Based on that recommendation, we enrolled him in Brilliant Chess Academy. Since joining, we’ve seen remarkable improvement in his game. The classes are engaging and interactive, and the regular practice sessions have greatly enhanced his learning. He enjoys every session and looks forward to each class. We are truly thankful for the excellent guidance and support provided by the academy in nurturing our little chess master. Coach Samresh sir is also a very wonderful sir who is very friendly with all the students and keeps the class engaged with his wide knowledge about chess. Thanvitha was curious about the game before, but ever since she started the sessions, her interest has grown significantly. We’ve noticed a clear improvement in her ability to think ahead and make thoughtful decisions, both during chess and in her day-to-day activities. The classes are well-structured and engaging, which has helped her stay motivated and look forward to each session. She even enjoys exploring chess on her own by watching videos and trying out new techniques. It’s been wonderful to see her confidence and problem-solving skills develop through this journey. She has learned several tactics and moves that help build up her strategy throughout a game. She has started improving in critical thinking in certain situations and has taken the initiative to watch videos on YouTube to help strengthen her strategies during a game.
