We enrolled her in Brilliance Chess Academy to help improve her thinking skills. Shivani began her chess journey under the guidance of her coach, Ms. Dara Chetana Ma’am, who has been extremely supportive and encouraging throughout. Under her mentorship, Shivani has learned key chess strategies and shown remarkable improvement in her game. She is now confidently participating in chess competitions at school, and we feel truly happy and proud to see her growth and progress. He has always been curious and enjoys exploring new challenges. Earlier this year, he developed a strong interest in chess, and since then he has been eager to learn more about the game. With the guidance of his coach Gaurav Yadav, he has started understanding important concepts such as opening moves, planning ahead, and thinking strategically. We have noticed that playing chess has helped him become more focused and patient, especially when solving problems. He often practices at home on his own and sometimes enjoys friendly matches with family members. What we appreciate most is that Vivan shows excitement not just in winning, but also in learning from each game he plays. As parents, we noticed his enthusiasm and, after exploring in-person classes with long waiting periods, we found Brilliant Academy online. Since joining, Aarav’s growth in chess has been remarkable—whether on holidays, in flights, or during free time, he is always eager to play. From playing with family at home to now confidently competing with older children, his confidence and passion have grown tremendously. Before joining the class, he was understanding the basic only. Within few classes he was able to get the tricks and able to move quickly with the thinking. After few weeks of the classes, he gets lot of improvements on the movement. He got more interest on practicing. The coach demonstrates a highly professional approach to teaching, always punctual and well-prepared for each session. Even when a class is missed, she takes the initiative to arrange a makeup session without being asked, showing her commitment to her students’ progress. She gives individual attention to each student, ensuring they fully understand the concepts and strategies being taught. Her communication with parents is exceptional, keeping them informed and engaged with their child’s development. Overall, her dedication and professionalism make her an outstanding chess coach. Coach Feedback: It has been a joy coaching Nalan. He is naturally curious about technology and always eager to help his classmates. He loves reading and colouring. He likes spending time with his friends racing and slaying zombies. Chess has become his favourite activity of the day. He looks forward to his classes eagerly. He has learned the basics rather quickly under coach Karan who is patient and supportive. With creativity and positive encouragement, Arjun has developed his passion for chess.
