Devarsh is an 11-year-old boy currently living in Dubai, UAE. He developed a passion for chess in February 2026 and began taking lessons with his coach, __________, in March 2026 to further enhance his skills. Since then, he has learned various tactics, opening principles, and strategic concepts that have helped strengthen his overall game.
Beyond his formal training, Devarsh regularly enjoys playing chess with his father and sister, which gives him additional opportunities to practice and apply what he has learned. Over time, he has shown significant improvement in his critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities during games. He also takes the initiative to watch chess videos on YouTube to expand his knowledge and refine his strategies. His dedication, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn continue to contribute to his growth as a young chess player.
Coach Feedback:
Devarsh is an enthusiastic and motivated young chess player who has shown excellent progress since beginning his structured training. He is eager to understand new tactics, opening ideas, and strategic concepts and is becoming more thoughtful in his decision-making during games. His regular practice with family members and initiative to explore chess content independently are helping him strengthen his understanding beyond the classroom. I am particularly pleased with his developing calculation, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. With consistent practice, tournament exposure, and continued enthusiasm, Devarsh has strong potential to make further progress and become a confident and well-rounded chess player.
