Naveen is a 10-year-old boy who currently lives in Qatar. He developed a keen interest in chess, and while looking for a structured coaching program, we came across Brilliance Chess Academy. Impressed by the academy’s approach, he enrolled under the guidance of Coach Milan Makwana in October 2025.
Since joining the academy, Naveen has steadily enhanced his understanding of the game by learning different chess principles, tactical patterns, and strategic planning. His ability to think ahead, analyze positions, and make thoughtful decisions has improved significantly. He enjoys practicing regularly, solving chess puzzles, and applying what he learns during his games. Chess has also helped him develop greater patience, focus, and self-confidence.
We are delighted with his progress and look forward to seeing him continue to grow as a player.

Naveen is a dedicated student who is always on time for class and brings a smile with him. He may be a little shy, but he lets his chess do the talking.
Over the past few months, I have seen great improvement in his game, especially in his thinking and decision-making. He listens carefully, learns from his mistakes, and is always willing to improve. His hard work and consistency are paying off, and I’m proud of the progress he has made.
