Shivansh a 12 year old residing in Abu Dhabi UAE has intrest in chess. He started his passion of playing chess around 7 years of age. At first ,he started taking online classes but was struggling to understand the concepts. By the end mid of 2025 the kid had very less interest in playing chess.
Then we decided to take classes with his coach, Shashank in mid of 2025. He has came a long way since joining his class. He has learned several tactics and moves that help build up his strategy over course of games.He has shown improvement in critical thinking in certain situations and has taken the initiative to play games on Chess.com and lechess.com. Thanks to coach guidance, commendable patience while teaching him, he was able to secure medal in his school championship and 393rd Rank in Cycle 2 of UAE Chess Fedration Cup, 2026. Previous year he had secure 43rd Rank in ADEK CUP.
Coach Feedback:
Shivansh always plays with a strong fighting spirit and a real desire to win, which brings both valuable lessons and great opportunities for growth. His competitive mindset and determination are wonderful qualities to have as a chess player.
He also has a very sharp eye for tactics and regularly spots strong ideas during games and puzzles. With a bit more consistent effort in practice, he is definitely on his way to showing great progress.
A well-deserved recognition for his attitude and potential this month. Keep it up, Shivansh!
