Devaansh is a 10-year-old boy in Grade 5 at ADIS Abu Dhabi. He currently lives in Abu Dhabi, UAE. He developed an interest in chess after watching his older cousins play and became fascinated by the strategies and intelligent moves involved in the game. To further improve his skills, he started taking chess classes with Brilliance Chess Academy in April 2026. Since then, he has learned different tactics, openings, and techniques that help him think ahead and make smart decisions during a game. Chess has also helped him improve his concentration, problem-solving abilities, and critical thinking skills, while encouraging him to play more thoughtfully and strategically.

Devaansh is a sincere and steadily improving young chess player who approaches learning with patience and determination. Since joining the academy, he has shown encouraging progress in both his understanding of the game and his problem-solving abilities.
One of the most noticeable improvements has been in his tactical puzzle-solving and pattern recognition skills. Through regular practice and consistent effort, his thinking speed and confidence during Puzzle Racer sessions have improved significantly, reflecting healthy developmental progress.
Devaansh learns best through structured guidance and step-by-step understanding, and he continues to show positive growth with each session. His willingness to keep trying, even when challenged by difficult positions or puzzles, demonstrates resilience and a strong learning attitude.
With continued consistency, practice, and exposure to competitive play, Devaansh has the foundation to develop into a confident and thoughtful chess player.
