Samritha is 10 years old and currently based in Kuwait. She developed a passion for chess, inspired by her sister, who also plays tournaments at the school level.
We enrolled her in demo classes at Brilliant Chess Academy with Ms. Dara Chetana, and since then, she has been consistently motivated and guided in the right direction. Ma’am has encouraged her to play more games, solve puzzles, and has taught her a variety of useful tactics.
Samritha truly enjoys attending her classes and has become more dedicated and focused on improving her game. We have seen a noticeable improvement not only in her chess skills but also in her confidence and problem-solving abilities.
I am sincerely grateful to Ms. Dara Chetana and the academy for bringing such a positive transformation in my child’s journey in chess. Once again, thank you for your dedication and support in her growth.

One of the most surprising things about Samritha has been her exceptional ability to solve puzzles. From the beginning, she showed a strong tactical understanding. However, she was not very regular in playing tournament/practice games initially.
At the B2 level, students are required to reach a rating of 1100 and complete 300 games through consistent practice. Although Samritha started playing regularly only in the last few months of her B2 journey, she still managed to achieve the 1100 rating and successfully complete all 300 games.
This was truly impressive and clearly showed her determination and capability. She genuinely earned her promotion to the intermediate level through her own effort, which is highly commendable. I strongly feel that if she continues to stay focused and aims higher, nothing can stop her progress.
