Atharv sparked his interest in chess after receiving a chess board for his 8th birthday and began self-learning via YouTube. He would patiently play with us for hours.
Impressed by his dedication for chess,we were thinking of enrolling him in chess classes and got a reference for Brilliance Chess Academy from a friend whose kid is already learning there.He started online coaching with Coach Swapnil in mid-Jan 2026 after a successful trial.
He hasn’t missed a class, loves the practice sessions and has learned fundamentals, opening techniques and strategies. Coach Swapnil’s supportive approach and regular feedback have boosted Atharv’s confidence, concentration and analytical thinking. We’re excited to see how far his passion for chess will take him.
