Ryan Samuel is a 9-year-old boy from Oman who began his chess journey in March 2025 with Brilliance Chess Academy, guided by his coach, Mr. Sagar. In a short time, he has developed a keen interest and steady improvement in the game.

He also enjoys learning from chess tutorials on YouTube, which have introduced him to different openings, strategies, and endgame ideas that he actively applies in his practice.
